Complete website overhaul and brand refresh for an independent garage in Leeds, with an AI‑powered warning light lookup tool, MOT checker and reminder service, online booking, custom CSS animations, and full content management control for the Sultas team.

Brief

Sultas Auto Specialists, an independent vehicle repair centre in Leeds, needed a complete website overhaul. Their existing site was outdated and did not reflect the quality of their work or provide the content management flexibility the team needed to update pricing, hours, contact details and imagery themselves.

Approach

We rebuilt the Sultas site from scratch on WordPress and Bricks Builder with Core Framework CSS, replacing a generic template with a bespoke design built around strong original CSS animation and transform techniques. The result is a visually distinctive site that stands apart from typical automotive trade websites without sacrificing usability.

Practical functionality was given equal priority throughout the build. The site includes online booking and quotation requests, with the booking flow integrating with UKVD data to look up vehicle make, model, and other key details. It also features detailed FAQs covering common vehicle issues tailored to each manufacturer they specialise in, alongside broader topics such as MOTs and air conditioning.

An AI-powered vehicle warning light lookup tool helps users identify over 300 warning symbols, offering likely causes and practical advice. The site also includes an MOT checker and reminder service, integrated with DVSA data to help customers stay on top of essential maintenance and testing deadlines.

To strengthen trust and relevance, customer reviews are dynamically summarised using AI - surfacing the most relevant social proof based on the specific vehicles and services each visitor is exploring (air-con or MOT for example). The backend system also monitors the web for new reviews - leveraging AI to analyse sentiment trends and assisting the team in drafting personalised responses.

ACPT (Advanced Custom Post Types) powers the team member and service management system, giving the Sultas team full control over content without touching code. This also includes global controls for background imagery, holiday periods, special offers and MOT pricing tables.
